An indie invasion by Ramiro E, Helena Grimaldi and Iván Martínez lands at Toby Gallery with an AI-fueled, post-digital delirium that turns beauty into revelation and horror.

Helena Grimaldi

Madrid’s Toby Gallery, the capital’s hub for New Pop, Video Art, Brut Art, Comic Outsider and Trash Art, presents ‘APOCALISSIS PUTIN’, a collective exhibition by Ramiro E, Helena Grimaldi and Iván Martínez—three creative figures rooted in fashion and art who turn the apocalypse into an aesthetic revelation.

Far from the political noise of other names, ‘APOCALISSIS PUTIN’ stages an indie, AI-driven, post-digital delirium that asks what happens when artificial intelligence gains access to the totality of information. The trio explores an ancient gnostic intuition: the universe is not made of matter, but of data, codes and symbols. If AI is a creature made to read it all, it becomes, inevitably, an instrument of revelation—an apocalypse.

The exhibition embraces the etymology of apokálypsis—“revelation” or “unveiling”—as a visual experience. Through dreamlike, disturbing and beautiful AI-generated images, a world appears fully revealed and therefore on the verge of ending. Echoing Rilke, “Beauty is nothing but the beginning of terror… every angel is terrifying,” a line that frames the show’s oscillation between allure and dread.

Ramiro E

Each artist presents a distinct vision: Ramiro E with ‘DISCO PANINI’, Helena Grimaldi with ‘THIS IS GONNA MAKE YOU SWEAT’, and Iván Martínez with ‘PRETTY IN PINK’. Together, these pieces compose a strange and magnetic trip through data, beauty and collapse—an indie rite where images behave like signals from the end of a system and the start of another.

‘APOCALISSIS PUTIN’ runs from October 24 to November 25, 2025, at Toby Gallery, Calle Jesús y María 19 (corner with Calvario), Metro Tirso de Molina, Madrid. Check updated hours on Instagram.
