Actress and activist Lola Rodríguez embodies power, freedom, and authenticity in Jean-Paul Gaultier’s latest fragrance campaign.

In the new campaign for Gaultier Divine, photographer Charly Gosp showcases Lola Rodríguez as a modern goddess. Against golden, dreamlike backdrops, Rodríguez dons head-to-toe looks from the maison Jean Paul Gaultier, bringing to life the campaign’s mantra: “When the divine corsets appear, everything else fades.” Perfumer Quentin Bisch reimagines luxury through a luminous floral marine blend led by a majestic lily, wrapped in white blooms, whipped meringue accord, and a fresh, saline whisper of sea-kissed skin.

Rodríguez, celebrated for her advocacy within the LGBTQ+ community, perfectly aligns with Jean Paul Gaultier’s ethos of celebrating all cultures, bodies, and identities. Since 1976, the maison has treated the body as sacred, and Rodríguez’s fearless spirit and career of activism resonate deeply with that philosophy. In the campaign, she embodies a new femininity without labels, wielding identity as art and beauty as power.

More than a fragrance, Gaultier Divine is a conscious gesture toward sustainability. Its sculptural, golden corset-inspired flacon is refillable, significantly reducing material use. This design invites women to embrace both their individuality and responsibility to the planet. Through Gosp’s lens, Rodríguez appears drenched in light—an image of sensuality, strength, and liberation that transcends the bottle.

With every frame, Rodríguez channels divine femininity, elevating the fragrance into a statement of empowerment. ‘Gaultier Divine’ urges women everywhere to celebrate their unique power and to wear their identity boldly—because, in Gaultier’s world, the most divine act is to be wholly—and unapologetically—yourself.
