We were at Pitti Bimbo, the international children’s fashion fair, and we bring you 4 brands that caught our attention.

Florence was bursting with mini trends, vibrant colours and pure creativity during the latest edition of Pitti Bimbo, the international trade fair where children’s brands, buyers, journalists and content creatros from around the world come together to imagine the future of the kids’ wardrobe.
But Pitti Bimbo is not just about beautiful clothes. It’s a laboratory of ideas. A place where collaborations are born, new brands are discovered and the next big trends for boutiques and concept stores begin to take shape.
This year, one of the areas that inspired us the most was “New Edit” — a space dedicated to casual, fresh and contemporary brands. A carefully curated selection with a modern mindset: versatile pieces that move with real kids, gender-fluid designs, organic fabrics and responsible production processes, urban aesthetics with an artistic twist, and natural colour palettes mixed with bold, vibrant accents.
There was a feeling of freedom in the air. A kind of fashion that understands children are not “mini adults”, but individuals with their own identity, energy and voice.
And of course, we’re sharing our favourite discoveries from this edition below:

1. Kids Concept
Founded in 2007, Kid’s Concept is a Swedish design company creating functional and innovative products that make everyday life with children easier — and more joyful. Their mission is simple: encourage play and bring happiness into children’s daily routines. Every piece is safe, practical and thoughtfully designed to support a childhood that feels both free and fun. For them, the only limit should be imagination. We especially loved their collaboration with the Astrid Lindgren Company, celebrating Pippi Longstocking’s 80th anniversary. Inspired by “This is Villa Villekulla today”, the collection reimagines how Pippi’s house might look if she moved in today — bold, playful and full of colour.

2. Halcyon Nights
Designed in Melbourne, Halcyon Nights is an Australian baby and kidswear brand that celebrates boundless imagination. It began around a kitchen table, with founder Kym and her two daughters drawing fantastical characters and playful worlds — turning family creativity into joyful, colourful prints. Each collection is developed in collaboration with Australian and international artists, resulting in vibrant designs that spark children’s creativity while bringing parents back to a time when everything felt fresh, bright and new. With recycled packaging and inclusive pricing, the brand believes every family deserves a little everyday magic.

3. Sticky Lemon
Founded in 2016, Sticky Lemon is a Dutch label for kids (and bigger kids) with bold taste and zero fear of standing out. Quirky, sunny and full of personality, the brand plays with colour blocking, playful illustrations and subtle retro vibes.Every collection feels like a small story — celebrating school days, creativity and fun. It’s a brand made for expressive kids who see the world in bright colours and aren’t afraid to show it.

4. Naturino & Flower Mountain
For little ones who are already friends of the planet, Flower Mountain for Naturino brings a colourful, 100% animal-free sneaker capsule created in collaboration with the Japanese brand Flower Mountain. These sneakers combine vibrant design with responsible materials: fabric uppers, recycled linings, cork insoles and ultra-light EVA soles. The result is footwear that’s comfortable, lightweight and perfect for nature-loving kids — ready to explore the world while respecting it with every step.
