Anxiety and avoidance as geographical prisons: a frigid forest invading the intimacy of a room; a warm refuge folding in on itself until it becomes visceral. Characters condemned to the stasis of their own patterns, where the interior is a hostile outdoors and the sanctuary, an absolute void. Fashion as the skin of a psyche that knows no escape.
