Main character energy, tailored: DOBLAS SS26.

Carlos Doblas isn’t the loudest voice in Spanish fashion right now — and that’s his power. Instead of chasing viral moments, he’s building emotional ones. After years working behind big-brand scenes, his return to a personal label feels like a love letter to craft and self-discovery.
On the runway, the audience leaned in. You could sense it — the quiet respect. This wasn’t spectacle; it was sincerity wrapped in good tailoring. As the final model walked, applause rose not just for the clothes but for the courage behind them.
It belonged to Carlos Doblas, the Sevillian designer redefining his label (now simply DOBLAS) with a message that’s equal parts emotional and empowering: sometimes, you have to break things to rebuild them stronger.
For Spring/Summer 2026, Doblas didn’t just show clothes — he told a story. The collection, titled “TILL IT BREAKS”, explores rupture as transformation: endings that spark beginnings, softness born from strength. “It’s about change,” the designer explains. “About letting things crack so light can come in.”

That spirit runs through every stitch. You can feel it — in the sharp shoulders that nod to 80s power dressing, in the fluid skirts that move like whispers, and in the way masculine tailoring and feminine ease merge without conflict. It’s giving evolution, not nostalgia.
Part memoir, part manifesto: DOBLAS’s SS26 is a reminder that breaking isn’t the end — it’s the beginning of style reborn. Below are backstage moments captured by our photographer Ángela Ibáñez:
