For Pre-Fall 2026, Blumarine returns to Venice where the Italian house saw Albert Watson shoot their iconic Fall-Winter 1992 campaign in the city. Creative Director David Koma deepens his exploration of dark romanticism, drawing clear nods to the House’s visual heritage, including Blumarine’s previous collaborations with Helmut Newton.

Captured through the lens of Zoe Natale Mannella and styled by Marc Goehring, the Pre Fall 2026 collection sees Venice once again become a cinematic muse, a city of masks, mirrors, and hedonism. Their visual narrative channels the provocative elegance of Blumarine’s past while asserting a contemporary gaze. Tailoring borrows from masculine codes, denim and workwear are elevated through embroidery and metallic finishes, and accessories, including sky-high stilettos, mask-inspired eyewear, and ornate jewellery.
The collection evokes the dress codes of Baroque masked balls through sculptural silhouettes, crinoline-bonded georgette, Chantilly lace, duchess silk, and taffeta. Rose and thorn motifs, Venetian lions, and mask iconography appear as prints, embroidery, and hardware, animating mini dresses, fluid gowns, and hourglass tailoring. A palette of red, lavender, pale blue, and black recalls the sumptuous costumes of Venetian history, while sheer lace, sensual draping, along with butterfly-shaped masks and mask-like sunglasses make up the emblem of Blumarine.
