Its been two years since Dutch born brand zomer made their fashion week debut. Spring Summer 2026 marks their fourth collection in the fashion capital under their belt (no pun intended). Designer Danial Aitouganov and stylist Imruh Asha are proving themselves to be one of the most playful brands. Each collection embraces surprise and optimism, positioning zomer as a fresh breath of air in today’s fashion landscape.
Photographer Rita Castel-Branco goes backstage to get up close to the exaggerated proportions and distorted scales making a visual playground, where humor is not only welcomed but celebrated. In contrast to the pared-back minimalism that dominates much of contemporary fashion, zomer chooses to expand, delighting in bursts of color, irreverent silhouettes, and a spirit of unguarded joy.
