It doesn’t destroy, but it leaves a mark.
This isn’t just about beauty.
Or at least, not that flawless, polished, predictable kind of beauty.
This is about what tears, what sticks, what stains.
About what doesn’t quite fit, yet still composes.
About what’s crooked but finds its place.
Something clean gets contaminated.
And in that contamination, something breathes.
The ribbons, the cuts, the marks that look like mistakes are seams of meaning. There is no perfection—there is tension.
A beauty that doesn’t soothe, that unsettles, that vibrates.
A strange kind of balance, made of failures and adjustments.
A broken way of being that still holds.
If everything were in its place, it would be boring.
Order needs disorder to avoid becoming mere decoration.
And disorder needs order to keep from dissolving into chaos.
Black and white doesn’t always soothe.
