From Aero-FIT cooling technology to neuroscience-based footwear and fashion-driven kit culture, Nike Football’s new universe expands the game far beyond the pitch.

A new football era is taking shape through performance laboratories, fashion collaborations, cultural storytelling and neuroscience innovation. Nike has unveiled ‘Universe of Football’, an expansive platform for 2026 presenting a vision of the sport where elite competition, street culture, technology and emotional experience coexist within the same ecosystem.
The project brings together everything from federation kits engineered with the brand’s new Aero-FIT cooling technology to player-focused footwear innovations, lifestyle collections and community-driven initiatives. Arriving ahead of football’s biggest global stage in 2026, the platform reflects how the sport increasingly operates as both athletic performance and cultural language.
At the center of the announcement is Aero-FIT, Nike’s latest apparel innovation developed to regulate body temperature under extreme competitive pressure. The technology debuts through the new 2026 federation kits, designed for national teams competing in next year’s international tournaments. Alongside the technical launch, Nike also revealed new football-inspired sportswear collections that translate the emotion and aesthetics of the game into everyday dressing.

Footwear continues to dominate the conversation. The new Phantom 6 is positioned as Nike’s most precise attacking boot to date, while Erling Haaland receives his first Player Edition model built around control and precision under pressure. Elsewhere, the Tiempo Maestro reframes the classic football silhouette for creative attacking players focused on elite dribbling performance.
The company also pushes football deeper into fashion and visual culture through projects like ‘Hollywood Keepers’, a campaign exploring the evolution of goalkeeper kit aesthetics, and the Mad 90 Pack, which transforms iconic football boots into Air Max 90 sneakers.
