Craftsmanship, circularity, new approaches to tailoring and a growing interest in identity and material experimentation define the 38th edition, where established names meet a new generation of designers.

Across different generations and aesthetics, the designers on this season’s programme share an interest in reworking familiar fashion codes through silhouette, material and process. 080 Barcelona Fashion returns from 20 to 23 October at Marina Vela Port Vell, where 25 designers and brands will present their collections against Barcelona’s seafront.
The programme moves between long established names and practices still defining their language. Custo Barcelona, Escorpion and Guillermina Baeza sit alongside designers such as Crypta, whose work begins with the possibilities and imperfections of materials, Aleixandri Studio, which approaches fashion as a political language and living archive, and Antonio Acuario, whose practice is built around reconstruction, upcycling and a genderless perspective.
There are also significant moments within individual trajectories. Dominnico celebrates ten years with ‘Soft Armor Fall 2026’, while Paris based Louis Gabriel Nouchi, winner of the 2023 ANDAM Grand Prix, brings his dialogue between literature, contemporary culture and tailoring to Barcelona. Acceptance Letter continues Jeakyong Sim’s research into heritage crafts, circular practices and monomaterial design.
Circular fashion remains part of the conversation through the fifth edition of 080 Reborn, creatively directed by Fermín + Gilles. Following its retrospective at the Museu d’Art Modern de Tarragona earlier this year, the project returns with garments created exclusively from second hand clothing, exploring upcycling as both a sustainable practice and a creative language.
