The actress returns as the face of Mugler, fronting ‘Angel Blush’, a softer and more intimate reinterpretation of the house’s iconic fragrance with a musky, skin-like finish.

Mugler expands its fragrance universe with ‘Angel Blush’, a new chapter in one of perfumery’s most recognisable stories, once again fronted by Hunter Schafer. The launch builds on the legacy of ‘Angel’, the 1992 scent that helped define gourmand perfumery through a bold mix of sweetness, patchouli and depth. This new version keeps that identity in view, while shifting its tone towards something closer, softer and more tactile.
Developed by master perfumer Louise Turner, ‘Angel Blush’ centres on creamy musk, Bourbon vanilla and an almond milk accord that gives the fragrance a powdery, second-skin effect. Patchouli and sandalwood remain in the composition, anchoring it to the original while introducing a smoother and more delicate profile. The result is a musky gourmand that feels intimate yet radiant, sweet yet airy, with a finish designed to sit close to the body rather than project at full volume.

That recalibration speaks directly to the current mood in fragrance, where texture, comfort and wearability shape the conversation as much as signature and memory. ‘Angel Blush’ channels the familiar richness of the Angel universe into a lighter register, making room for a sensuality that feels more understated. It is a reinterpretation that does not erase the original’s intensity, but translates it into a more contemporary frequency.
The campaign follows that same direction. Centered on Schafer, it embraces an ethereal visual language that favours atmosphere over spectacle, allowing her presence to frame the scent’s softer identity. Her return as the face of Mugler gives continuity to the house’s image while reinforcing a vision of femininity shaped by mood, texture and transformation. With ‘Angel Blush’, Mugler revisits an icon by bringing it closer to the skin.
