In the heart of Barcelona’s Mercat de la Concepció, this editorial created by Chiqui Peña and Morena Soares C., proposes a visual dialogue between the real and the artificial, the human and the perfect. Through Marie Ann— a representation of the technological universe—we explore the tension between authenticity and digital perfection in a society obsessed with the impeccable image. We decided to take this concept further, by dispensing with a photographer and capturing the images with a current technological tool: the iPhone 16 Pro Max. This choice reinforces the duality between the human and the digital, questioning how technology redefines the perception of beauty and reality. With striking styling and powerful but refined makeup, we contrast fashion with market products, highlighting the importance of these traditional spaces that still
survive in an increasingly digitalized world. More than an editorial, this is a reflection on the balance between progress and
identity, perfection and humanity.
