Personal beauty, chosen family and radical self-expression define Matières Fécales’ SS26 campaign, where friends, muses and collaborators become part of the brand’s visual identity.

Matières Fécales turns inward for Spring Summer 2026. Photographed by Steven Raj Bhaskaran, ‘Hannah’ places the label’s close creative circle at the center of the campaign, replacing distance and spectacle with intimacy and shared identity.

The collection began as a reflection on individuality through Hannah Rose Dalton herself before expanding toward the people who shape the brand’s daily world. Rather than relying on anonymous casting, Matières Fécales builds the campaign through emotional proximity, collaboration and mutual influence.

Among the figures appearing in the images is Lola, the Paris-based cabaret performer and in-house muse whose theatrical presence reflects the label’s emotional intensity. Jev, who works alongside the designers developing the collections, also appears as part of this creative ecosystem.

The campaign mirrors a wider shift in independent fashion, where brands increasingly replace aspirational imagery with real communities and personal storytelling. Matières Fécales maintains its posthuman silhouettes and unsettling glamour while grounding everything in human closeness.
