SHOOP, founded by Miriam Sanz and Yohei Oki between Madrid and Tokyo, unveils a Spring Summer 2026 collection where fragility and strength intertwine, guided by the enigmatic black lily.

For SHOOP, the new season opens with a study in contrasts. The black lily—rare in nature, often linked to solitude and mystery—emerges as a discreet yet commanding metaphor. It signals a way of speaking softly while being unmistakably clear, a quiet gesture that resonates through the collection’s silhouettes.

Airy, lightweight fabrics in soft tones meet technical mainstays such as nylon and denim, a dialogue that underscores the label’s utilitarian core. This tension between delicacy and durability shapes pieces that shift with ease between sensitivity and practicality, from the intimate to the public sphere. Oversized bags punctuate the looks, key objects that feel both useful and expressive, sealing each outfit with purpose.

SS26 reaffirms a poetic approach to design: drawing from the everyday and reinterpreting it through a contemporary lens where function and emotion are inseparable. The brand’s ongoing reinterpretation of classic garments continues with exacting attention to detail, material repurposing and a commitment to unisex silhouettes.

The label’s trajectory includes the Tokyo Fashion Award (2020) and shows at Rakuten Fashion Week Tokyo. Collaborations span global names—Nike, Asics, New Rock—and work with the legendary Japanese photographer Kishin Shinoyama. Their pieces have appeared on international artists including Drake, Rosalía and J. Balvin.

Rare, discreet, and resilient, a symbol of beauty that flourishes in silence yet shapes the space around it. In SS26, SHOOP follows the path of the black lily.
