Valentino Beauty is rolling out a new artistic collaboration that reinterprets one of the Maison’s most iconic signatures, Born in Roma. The project sees seven visionary digital artists to reimagine the Born in Roma Donna and Uomo fragrance bottles through their own distinctive visual languages, transforming the emblematic design into a contemporary canvas.

Rooted in the couture heritage of Valentino, Valentino Beauty was created to translate the House’s Roman spirit, craftsmanship, and bold sense of individuality into the world of fragrance and beauty. Since its launch, the brand has positioned Born in Roma as a modern olfactory manifesto. Selected for their innovative approaches to digital creation, the participating artists are made up of Infiniteyay, Daily Splice, Xeocho, Chrissie Abbott, Andrew Knives, Maria Ines Guil, and Simon Bailly with each bring a singular perspective to the project. Working across video and still imagery, they were granted full creative freedom with one guiding intention: to preserve the unmistakable identity of Born in Roma at its core.

Among the collaborations, Born in Roma meets the graphic world of Simon Bailly, where the fragrance becomes the protagonist of a visual narrative. “A young woman wanders through a multicolored labyrinth… she finds a mirror, picks it up, and looks at herself. From the shadows of a labyrinth to the brilliance of the light, she chooses Valentino.”

To celebrate the initiative, each final creation will be unveiled on Valentino Beauty’s Instagram, forming a curated digital gallery that reflects the Born in Roma universe through multiple artistic perspectives. With this project, Valentino Beauty continues to champion community.
