“Heartfelt” marked the third chapter of @thenorthface x @ceciliebahnsen, where the Danish designer turned light, air, and feeling into a single, luminous gesture. We explore her collection through details.

Inside the sunlit Palais de Tokyo, Cecilie Bahnsen marked her tenth anniversary by reimagining softness as strength. After an introspective year -from her archive show in Copenhagen to guest-editing A Magazine By- she chose instinct over analysis. “Instead of overanalyzing, just make it,” she said, inspired by her son Ib Frost’s curiosity. That intuition guided a collection of airy structures and quiet emotion.

Her romantic codes evolved into playful new forms: signature ribbons gave way to sculptural panniers, light and buoyant with boning that moved as if alive. Some could be detached or reattached, modular pieces that let the wearer decide how much volume to embrace. Others appeared fused into translucent dresses that revealed the architecture of seams and layers beneath.

Details carried the pulse of the show. Beneath crystalline tears under the models’ eyes, LED hearts –created with Enlightened Designs- glowed softly from within sheer fabrics, their rhythm synced to August Rosenbaum’s soundtrack. It wasn’t futurism, but intimacy: a dialogue between handcraft and light, between heart and material.
