Because it’s not nostalgia — it’s reclamation. Dominnico isn’t just referencing rococo; he’s dismantling it. The corset, long a symbol of control, becomes armor. The wig, once a marker of status, becomes a queer crown. The brand’s genderless ethos pulses through every look, blurring lines between costume and body, past and future, softness and power. And thanks to Angela Ibañez’s exclusive backstage lens — with Jessica Goikoechea front and center — we get to feel it, not just see it.

In a haze of pink powder and latex sheen, Dominnico cracked open a new chapter at 080 Barcelona Fashion with ROCOCUNT — a collection that sounds like a dare and feels like a revolution. It’s rococo meets riot gear, a love letter to excess and defiance, where powdered wigs flirt with recycled motorcycle armor.
Creative director Domingo Rodríguez Lázaro continues his mission to make the runway feel like a queer utopia — loud, opulent, and deeply emotional. The name says it all: ROCOCUNT is camp as protest, glamour as resistance. It’s about reclaiming beauty from the ghosts of Versailles and giving it back to the kids who live online, who thrift, remix, and dream in fluorescent color palettes. It’s also a sustainable statement — one that doesn’t trade glamour for guilt. By reworking deadstock fabrics, vintage gear, and recycled leathers, Dominnico makes eco-consciousness feel sexy, not sanctimonious.
Photographer Angela Ibañez took us where the real magic happens — backstage. Her exclusive shots reveal the human pulse behind the collection: stylists fixing seams in half-darkness, makeup artists sketching lightning-fast eyeliner strokes, and models wrapped in chrome fabrics waiting for the cue to walk. Among them, Jessica Goikoechea became the moment — shimmering in one of the upcycled Dominnico’s statement looks, embodying the energy of the show before it hit the runway. Ibañez’s lens caught that cinematic in-between: the hush before the lights, the mix of chaos and calm that defines fashion’s most electric seconds.
