Ugo Boulard debuts at 080 Barcelona Fashion with ‘With Kind Regards’, a collection that transforms the language of letters into garments, unfolding memory, intimacy and craft through structure and detail.

A gesture unfolds slowly, as if each look carried something written, folded and sealed. At 080 Barcelona Fashion, Boulard presents its first runway collection, ‘With Kind Regards’, a proposal shown during the latest edition that marks Ugo Boulard’s debut on the official calendar. Conceived in three chapters, the collection translates the epistolary universe into clothing through references to writing, paper, calligraphy and wax seals. Developed in Barcelona and rooted in the city’s modernist heritage, the project introduces womenswear for the first time while maintaining a focus on craftsmanship, construction and narrative.
Clothing becomes a surface where time settles. Boulard approaches the letter as an object that carries presence, memory and intention, allowing each garment to operate as a fragment that reveals itself through attention. Collars fold like paper, silhouettes open and close like envelopes, and textures evoke layers that accumulate meaning rather than decoration. This logic of construction reflects a way of thinking through making, where detail structures the piece and invites a slower gaze.
The collection also extends the designer’s background in dance into the language of fashion. Movement informs proportion, balance and rhythm, shaping garments that respond to the body without fixing it. This physical awareness connects with the architectural influence of Barcelona, where ornament and structure coexist, offering a framework that Boulard translates into material experimentation and precise finishes. Techniques that require time and repetition reinforce a commitment to craft, positioning the collection within a continuity of making rather than seasonal novelty.
