Loli Bahia and Vittoria Ceretti move through the French Riviera in ‘Respiro’, a Summer 2026 campaign that brings Saint Laurent’s nocturnal codes into daylight.

The Mediterranean coast of southern France unfolds as an intimate journey through sunlight, water and desire. In ‘Respiro’, Saint Laurent turns summer into a cinematic narrative suspended between movement and memory. Conceived under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello and photographed by Henrik Purienne, the campaign traces a sunlit escape along the French Riviera.

Loli Bahia and Vittoria Ceretti appear alongside SJ, Mona Tougaard and Jenn du Puy, moving between beaches, coastal roads and quiet interiors. Golden light, photographic grain, wet skin and spontaneous gestures give the images the texture of a half remembered European film. Purienne captures a summer that feels lived and elusive, shaped by freedom, desire and nostalgia.

Transparent dresses, ruffles, black leather, swimwear and lightweight outerwear translate Vaccarello’s evening language into a freer summer wardrobe. The Panier and Loulou bags are reinterpreted in raffia, while translucent shoes, Howl sunglasses and talismanic jewellery reinforce the campaign’s effortless allure.

The journey reaches Villa Santo Sospir in Saint Jean Cap Ferrat, whose walls Jean Cocteau covered with mythological drawings from 1950 onwards. Known as the tattooed villa, the house connects ‘Respiro’ to the artistic history of the Riviera and to Yves Saint Laurent himself. Its owner, Francine Weisweiller, was one of the designer’s earliest clients and patrons.

A physical state of mind comes to life in ‘Respiro’, where Saint Laurent’s sensuality meets the Mediterranean landscape and Jean Cocteau’s mythological imagination.
