The London label has made ‘The Art of In-Between Dressing’ part of its statement. To capture the feeling of late summer, its latest drop turns layering, checks and contrasting textures into a wardrobe made for the shift ahead.

There is a particular kind of dressing that belongs to the moment when one season begins to slip into another. Damson Madder embraces that ambiguity in its latest August drop, building looks through layers that can be added, removed and combined as temperatures change.

Layering runs through the collection. Pre-layered T-shirts make it literal, while ruffled blouses meet outerwear and checked kilts are paired with technical rainwear. Romantic and functional codes coexist throughout.

Chocolate, burgundy, navy and grey introduce autumn tones, punctuated by bright pink and blue. Checks move across kilts, puffers and oversized totes, becoming a recurring motif.

Ruffles soften technical silhouettes, padded outerwear adds volume and lighter pieces play with overlapping proportions. Ruffled barrel bags, plaid totes, rain hats and colorful socks complete the looks. The result is a wardrobe built for the in-between. As summer fades, Damson Madder turns getting dressed into an exercise in contrast and possibility, one layer at a time.
