For SS27, Cecilie Bahnsen takes her signature dresses out into the everyday, mixing delicate embroidery with denim, workwear and silk. Romance, but make it real.

For Spring Summer 2027, Cecilie Bahnsen takes her signature romance out into the real world. Titled “Any Given Day,” the collection builds a complete wardrobe for the hours between morning and night, bringing together Italian denim, washed workwear, liquid silk, nightwear, intricate embroidery and the Copenhagen designer’s instantly recognisable dresses. The silhouettes are slimmer, longer and closer to the body, with familiar volumes pared back or interrupted, allowing the clothes to feel easier and more instinctive. A silk slip meets denim, embroidery appears on pieces designed to be worn hard, nightwear slips into daylight and workwear takes on a delicate quality without losing its utility.
The contrast gives the collection a tougher edge, while the craft and femininity remain unmistakably Bahnsen. Presented during Paris Fashion Week, the thirty looks feel like a fantasy wardrobe of workwear versus hyper-feminine shaped by the women wearing them rather than dictating who they should become. Romantic, practical, intricate and occasionally undone, SS27 makes a case for simply getting dressed and getting on with the day.
