Backstage at Paloma Wool SS27, where golden jacquard, checked silk and exposed seams get cut, twisted and transformed. A little deconstruction, a little Margot Tenenbaum, and a lot of attitude.

For Spring Summer 2027, Paloma Wool returns to Paris Fashion Week with a collection built through repetition, transformation and the unexpected possibilities of fabric. Presented at Maison de la Chimie, the collection begins with two contrasting materials, golden jacquard and checked silk, which reappear throughout in constantly shifting forms. Horizontal cuts divide the body at different levels, playing with cropped and elongated proportions across tops, skirts and dresses, while exposed linings gradually become garments in their own right.
Skirts hang from the waist by delicate straps and transparent layers reveal the construction beneath, giving the collection an almost deconstructed quality. The show opened to Brat Star’s “Margot Tenenbaum”, with lyrics from the track engraved onto bags and ultra low-cut pumps, finished with a series of floral silver toe rings. Brat Star also takes to the runway, bringing the music and energy that helped shape the collection directly into the presentation.
For this Vein exclusive, photographer Thomas Lizzi captures the collection backstage during Paris Fashion Week, offering an intimate look at the details, textures and atmosphere behind the show.
