Sita Abellán opens the show, Metrika hits the runway, and DOMINNICO enters its next era with a Spring 2027 collection where Madonna, office sirens and the dance floor collide at 080 Barcelona Fashion

Some stars don’t fade away. They explode, change shape and come back brighter. For its tenth anniversary, DOMINNICO takes that idea and runs with it. Enter SUPERNOVA Spring 2027, a collection about reinvention, pop culture and the thrill of becoming someone else without losing yourself in the process.
Sita Abellán opened the show, setting the mood for a runway that brought together fashion, music and attitude, with Metrika also making an appearance. Backstage, Ángela Ibañez captures the world behind the looks for VEIN Magazine, where the energy feels less like a trip down memory lane and more like a glimpse into what comes next.

The main character this season? Madonna, obviously. Few artists have mastered the art of switching eras quite like her. From Hollywood and Die Another Day to those legendary MTV Video Music Awards moments, her ability to turn image into a statement runs through the collection. Add the electronic pulse of her Confessions II era, and you get the perfect soundtrack for DOMINNICO’s latest fantasy: polished, provocative and made to be seen.
The dress code moves from the office to the afterparty without asking for permission. Pinstripe suits, pencil skirts, bombers and Harrington jackets get a DOMINNICO makeover, while Space Age references, ’90s glamour and the unapologetic sensuality of Tom Ford-era Gucci enter the chat. It’s corporate dressing with a nightlife problem. The office siren has clocked out, and she has plans.
Satin, leather, recycled Tibetan fur and knitwear build a wardrobe that balances sporty ease with a more elevated kind of glamour. Satin boots with patch pockets and stilettos dressed in pinstripes bring a playful twist to familiar silhouettes. The colour story is just as restless, shifting between aqua, pastel blue, lilac, lavender, mustard, pink and coral, grounded by black and white. Nothing stays in one lane for too long.
Ten years after building a universe entirely its own, DOMINNICO isn’t interested in standing still. SUPERNOVA Spring 2027 looks back only long enough to take everything forward, turning a milestone into a launchpad for whatever comes next. Because the best thing about having an identity is knowing you can keep changing it.
