Black is not just a color. For ACROMATYX, it is the soul of their latest collection — a timeless force, a design principle, and a cultural manifesto. Entitled ESENCIA, the collection explores the purest expression of the brand’s identity through an evocative tribute to Spain’s darker, deeper heritage.

Presented at 080 Barcelona Fashion, ACROMATYX‘s latest collection draws from the rich iconography of España negra, reimagining tradition through a contemporary lens. Mysterious, solemn, and emotionally charged, this vision of Spain is steeped in artisanal history. The collection dives into the folkloric essence of Extremadura, distorting regional floral embroidery motifs into something bold, deconstructed, and avant-garde.

ESENCIA is built on dualities: tight, sculpted silhouettes contrast with oversized shapes and unexpected volumes. Historical references from early 20th-century rural Spain are fused with sleek, futuristic tailoring — a tension between memory and reinvention that defines ACROMATYX’s visual language.

At the heart of the collection lies a masterful interplay of textures. Lustrous satin and cold wool. Raw denim and soft synthetic fur. Matte fabrics are disrupted by flashes of metallic finishes, giving a disruptive glamour to pieces rooted in tradition. Every garment stands alone as a sculptural composition — part ode, part experiment.

The color palette remains true to its conceptual core: absolute black dominates, accented by luminous white, refined pinstripes, and daring metallic details. Fabrics include cold wool, satin, denim, paño, nylon, gravity, and cotton — each chosen for its tactile impact and expressive potential.
