Ten fragrances inspired by encounters between Italy and the wider world, translating Bottega Veneta’s intrecciato craftsmanship into scent.

Craftsmanship can take many forms. For Bottega Veneta, the latest one happens to be fragrance. With the launch of Alta, the house introduces ten new Eau de Parfum fragrances that transform its iconic intrecciato motif into an olfactory narrative, connecting Italy with ingredients sourced from across the globe.

Rather than returning to Venice as the sole source of inspiration, Alta broadens the conversation. Each fragrance is built around what the house calls an “Intrecciato Duo”: one ingredient rooted in Italy paired with another from a different region of the world. The result is a collection that explores exchange, movement and craftsmanship through scent.

The lineup includes Always Now, Montebello, Balliamo, Bare Morning, Slow Rise, Ricordami, Moment After, Night Sounds, Velvet Steps and Crepuscolo. Among the standouts are Balliamo, which combines Italian white fig with American cedarwood, Montebello, where blood orange meets North African neroli, and Crepuscolo, a contrast between Italian sea salt and South Asian oud. Together, the fragrances move between bright citrus notes, warm woods, resins and spices, offering different moods while remaining connected by a shared narrative.

The design of the bottles reflects the same attention to craft. Made from recycled glass, each vessel is etched with the intrecciato pattern and finished with a wooden cap and gold ring inspired by Venetian architecture. Available in refillable 50 ml and 100 ml formats, the fragrances launch alongside a series of woven leather accessories created specifically for the collection.

Alta arrives at a moment of renewal for the house. Since the arrival of Louise Trotter as creative director, Bottega Veneta has continued to expand its universe while remaining faithful to the values that define it: craftsmanship, materiality and quiet luxury. Through Alta, those principles take shape in a new medium, transforming perfume into another expression of connection, culture and savoir-faire.
