The tension between what we reveal and what we keep hidden takes centre stage in McQueen’s Autumn Winter 2026 campaign, where noir cinema becomes the language for exploring identity, desire and performance.
Every pose conceals something. In McQueen‘s Autumn Winter 2026 campaign, noir becomes the perfect language for revealing what lies beneath the surface. Photographed and directed by Glen Luchford under the creative direction of Seán McGirr, the campaign stars Karen Elson, Paloma Elsesser, Jacqui Hooper and Xiao Wen, translating the collection’s emotional narrative into a cinematic world shaped by darkness, intimacy and desire.

Luchford draws on the visual codes of noir cinema, using dramatic lighting and carefully composed interiors to blur the line between performance and reality. Every frame is charged with psychological tension, while Savile Row tailoring meets silk georgette, lace and organza to balance structure with vulnerability.
The campaign expands on the themes introduced during the Autumn Winter 2026 runway show, exploring the contrast between our public personas and private selves. Floral jacquards, feather embroideries and sculptural silhouettes add texture and depth, while the Soft Knuckle Clutch, Jewelled Top Handle, Locke Bag and Niko boots extend the collection’s visual language.

Bringing together Karen Elson’s longstanding relationship with the house alongside Paloma Elsesser, Jacqui Hooper and Xiao Wen, the campaign confirms McGirr’s evolving vision for McQueen. Suspended between fashion editorial and psychological cinema, it presents clothing as a vehicle for emotion, revealing just enough while leaving the rest in the shadows.
