Grounds made its Paris Fashion Week debut with a presentation inside the iconic Chez Omar, a renowned couscous restaurant in the bustling center of Le Marais.

Grounds Spring Summer 2025 collection «INTERRUPTER» paid homage to Tokyo’s streets. The Paris debut distinguished itself as an outsider among fashion’s established powerhouses, pushing conventional fashion rules by bringing Tokyo’s underworld-inspired style to the world’s biggest stage. Grounds, known for its voluminous, bubbly platform shoes, has long been inspired by Tokyo’s subcultures, where underground features progressively enter mainstream design.

The event flawlessly blended Moroccan culinary traditions with the brand’s cutting-edge designs, resulting in an unparalleled blend of culture and innovation. The warm, energetic atmosphere was crowded with visitors, both inside and out on the terrace, as models glided seamlessly between the tables, presenting the bold, statement footwear up close. Some models even took up positions amid the outdoor chairs, providing a spontaneous and interactive element to the presentation. As visitors dined on Moroccan sweets and couscous, the combination of fashion and food produced an intense sensory experience. The dynamic mix of futuristic design and Tokyo’s underground culture set this season apart, embodying the brand’s essence of disruption and artistic expression.
