For the second chapter of its Fall/Winter 2026 womenswear collection, Hermès turned a Bel Air pavilion into a luminous stage where dance, craftsmanship and fashion moved together under the California sunset.

A golden June evening in Los Angeles became the setting for Hermès’ latest womenswear presentation. Under the creative direction of Nadège Vanhée, the house unveiled the second chapter of its Fall/Winter 2026 collection in Bel Air, transforming a pavilion overlooking the city into a space suspended between performance and reality.

Movement shaped every aspect of the presentation. Dancers and artisans shared the same visual language, revealing parallels between choreography and craftsmanship. Repetition, precision and gesture connected the atelier to the stage, suggesting that both disciplines rely on years of practice to achieve apparent ease.

Ballet became a recurring reference through construction and silhouette. Satin dresses in jewel-like shades of red, green and yellow echoed the elegance of dancewear, while grosgrain ribbons, gathered bustiers and wrap knits traced and enhanced the body with subtle control. Knit jumpsuits embellished with sparkling embroidery introduced a contemporary interpretation of rehearsal attire, balancing comfort and refinement.

As the presentation unfolded, the mood shifted. Fluid silk velvet foulard dresses moved alongside glossy leather jackets and biker-inspired outerwear, creating a dialogue between softness and strength. One of the collection’s most striking gestures came through the reinterpretation of the Soleil de Soie TATTOO scarf, transformed into sculptural garments that appeared to emerge directly from the fabric’s centre before cascading into draped folds.

As daylight faded, dark velvet and black satin reflected embroidered constellations, extending the collection’s horizon beyond the city itself. The final image suggested a suspended moment rather than a conclusion. For Hermès, this second chapter is built around rhythm, repetition and the enduring beauty of movement.
