The ADG Laus Awards arrive in Madrid for the first time with a free exhibition that traces the most awarded projects in contemporary graphic design and visual communication, on view from February 6 to March 8.

Design rarely sits still. It shifts with the way we read, buy, protest, archive, scroll, eat, and remember. That living pulse is the starting point of ‘Design in the present. ADG Laus Awards 2025’, the exhibition presented by IED Madrid as part of Madrid Design Festival, hosted at IED Madrid Design District and connected to the wider city programme of Open Studios Carabanchel.

Organised by ADG-FAD, the show makes its second stop after Barcelona Design Week and brings to Madrid a focused selection of the most recognised works from the latest edition of the ADG Laus Awards. With more than 1,450 entries, the edition set a record, translating into a precise snapshot of where graphic design and visual communication stand today.

Grand Laus, Young Talent and Laus Gold prizes across professional and student categories share the same space, outlining a landscape where established practices meet emerging voices. Projects from cultural, institutional, social, gastronomic and public contexts reveal how design connects function, form and meaning while shaping contemporary visual culture.

The opening programme expanded the exhibition into a conversation around current tendencies detected across the awarded works, placing recent outcomes in dialogue with previous editions and reflecting on the role of awards in professional recognition and creative evolution.

The exhibition is open to the public free of charge from February 6 to March 8 at IED Madrid Design District. Visitors can explore the full programme and practical details through the official IED Madrid and Madrid Design Festival channels.
