Instinct, craft and a desire to collect define Jonathan Anderson’s reimagined universe for JW Anderson. A refined, tactile world where fashion lives among objects, textures and memories.
For Resort Spring 2026, Jonathan Anderson presents a refined vision of JW Anderson that goes beyond fashion. Described as a “modern-day cabinet of curiosities,” the collection unfolds as a tactile world where garments meet objects, interiors, and personal obsessions. This is not about trends—it’s about surrounding yourself with things that mean something.
At the heart of this new chapter lies a deeply personal act: collecting with intention. Anderson makes no attempt to intellectualise it. “Things I like and I would like to have around me,” he says. It’s a direct, emotional approach. From garments to furniture, ceramics or antique tools, everything feels gathered, not produced. Everything holds a story.
The wardrobe is built from twisted classics and tactile essentials, grounded in regional craftsmanship: Japanese denim, Irish linen, Scottish wool, English silk damask. Less seasonal rotation, more thoughtful evolution. The lookbook features Anderson’s close circle—long-time collaborators and friends—capturing a feeling of intimacy and belonging.
Even the identity of the brand has shifted. The new store concept, designed by Sanchez Benton, translates the mood into space: warm woods, soft palettes, familiar textures. A shop that feels like someone’s living room, or a place to rest. Quiet and welcoming.
Beyond clothing, Anderson curates a constellation of objects that reflect his worldview: re-editions of Charles Rennie Mackintosh designs in Scottish oak, Akiko Hirai’s ceramics, Lucie Rie mugs, Welsh blankets, Murano glassware, hand-forged nails, coffee-flavoured tea from Postcard Teas, honey from Houghton Hall Estate, and antique gardening tools. Pieces chosen not to impress, but to live with.
