MAC Cosmetics is bringing back the 90s in a big way with its new Nudes collection, headlined by the return of the legendary lip liner. This iconic shade, beloved by supermodels like Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, and Linda Evangelista, defined the decade’s beauty aesthetic.

Dubbed “the supermodel pencil,” Spice became synonymous with 90s glamour, thanks to its universal appeal and the artistry of legends like Kevyn Aucoin. Now, MAC has responded to years of fan demand with Cool Spice, a reimagined version of the original cool-toned shade, as part of its spring launch.

The Nudes collection includes 28 products for lips and eyes, from 19 lipsticks to six eyeshadow palettes and three lip liners, catering to all skin tones. Cool Spice is joined by other revamped classics like Fleshpot, Stone, and Peachstock, offering timeless options for creating the perfect neutral look.

Makeup artist Erin Parsons, who created the campaign, showcased Cool Spice in a TikTok video, highlighting its cooler undertones compared to the modern-day Spice shade. Fans are already embracing the collection, with the lip liner quickly selling out in the U.S.

Whether you’re revisiting the supermodel era or exploring fresh ways to wear nudes, MAC’s latest collection proves that nude is truly personal.
