Miu Miu’s L’Été 2025 campaign ushers in a dreamlike summer reverie—soft, intimate and entirely unexpected. Moving beyond the architectural precision of the runway, the house invites us into a lush garden sanctuary where childhood memories and grown-up sophistication entwine under golden light.
“A natural beauty, an emancipated spirit. Miu Miu unveils the 2025 L’Été campaign located in a verdant space, both tranquil and energising, where endless summer days and balmy evenings are enjoyed in quiet contemplation”. This is how Miu Miu presents the campaign on its IG profile. Photographed by Siân Davey in her debut fashion campaign, L’Été 2025 unfolds among antique garden chairs, wrought-iron tables and climbing vines bathed in golden light. Diana Silvers and Callina Liang move through select tableaux with an ease that speaks to personal freedom, each silhouette captured as a quiet, poetic statement.
The collection blends schoolyard nostalgia with sharp tailoring in a seamless dialogue: periwinkle and cherry-red cotton frocks gain puffed sleeves and belted bustiers, checked piqué skirts slide over striped boatnecks, and grey suits are offset by bandana-print scarves and oversized buckles. Aviator jackets meet tennis skirts for a sporty-smart edge, while Lotta Volkova’s styling—patent-leather Mary Janes, mismatched-lace sneakers and wooden-soled clogs—injects a playful defiance that feels at once mischievous and effortless. Each look balances structure and spontaneity, as if the wearer could roam from a formal gathering to a secret garden hideaway without missing a beat.
Accessories and crux pieces elevate everyday essentials into intimate treasures. Wander and Beau bags arrive in richly woven leather, the Aventure in soft suede, and canvas backpacks in bold primaries—tactile keepsakes of summer adventures. The Petit Bateau capsule of striped boat-necks, tanks and cotton briefs, housed in archival-inspired packaging, reimagines basics as the season’s intimate foundations. Floral-and-fauna jewelry, striped canvas and raffia beach bags, fresh Ivy silhouettes and oversized aviator sunglasses add retro-chic flair. Under Siân Davey’s tender lens and Quarmby’s art direction, every stitch and accessory becomes part of a summer story defined by memory, freedom and quiet wonder.
