Come here, play with me, what’s your name???
Recess is an infinite concept. It suggests rest, relaxation, creativity, energy, and fun. It is a shelter and it is the nightmare of the child who is being bullied. It is peace and it is war. However, there is something clear and undeniable: what we understand by this changes radically from childhood to adulthood.
In the same way that on a huge slide we slide from childhood through adolescence with vertigo and uncertainty but also with excitement and impatience to see what awaits us. And although it may seem otherwise to us, it is not a loss but an opportunity for transformation and self-knowledge. Of being reborn and reinventing oneself.
