The London designer joins the cult skincare brand for a limited-edition drop that turns acne into a statement of self-love.
A heart-shaped patch can say more than a flawless filter. The collaboration between Ashley Williams and Starface reframes skincare as something to display rather than disguise. Known for her irreverent graphics and emotional honesty, Williams brings her playful universe to the brand that made pimple patches culturally visible.
At the centre of the launch is the Big Heart Compact, a collectible case filled with 32 Hydro-Star® patches redesigned with an ‘I Heart Me’ motif. Open the mirror and the message is clear: imperfections are not flaws to erase but moments to acknowledge. Acne becomes decorative, intentional, even affectionate.
The drop also includes the I Heart Strawberry Star Balm, a creamy lip treatment infused with shea butter, cocoa butter and coconut oil. The formula remains nourishing and glossy, while the packaging adopts Williams’ signature sweet yet subversive aesthetic. Beauty here is soft, ironic and self-aware.
What connects both brands is a shared belief in visibility. Starface built its community by challenging the stigma around breakouts, encouraging wearers to treat them as part of everyday life. Ashley Williams has long explored vulnerability as style language. Together, they propose a kind of radical tenderness that celebrates the face as it is.
