Façon Jacmin wakes up Paris Fashion Week with The Morning After—a witty, wearable ode to the post-party blur where Belgian cool meets real-life chaos, and style survives the night.
Façon Jacmin wrapped up the last day of Paris Fashion Week with their Spring Summer 2026 collection “The Morning After”. Sisters Alexandra Jacmin and Ségolène Jacmin drew inspiration from the renowned yearly cocktail served at the Délégation de Wallonie-Bruxelles. Politicians, media personalities, fashion enthusiasts, and artists gathered in one place yesterday. The presentation captured that moment of smudged makeup, untidy hair, looking for clothes while sipping Perrier in a post party haze, while some are cleaning up confetti and others continue to party just a bit longer. The immersive scenography saw models waking up across the room, applying makeup, or arriving late for work, expanded the idea further, and resembled a modern theater of daily life.
To hide dark circles, or a touch of glamour at any hour, models donned Belgium brand sunglasses Komono and sleek Belgian-designed Loop Earplugs for ears still buzzing from the night before. For those with hectic, always evolving lives, Façon Jacmin created a wardrobe that is both functional and adaptable, with many pieces made from upcycling practices that makes the brand’s signature. What we saw was a little disorganized, but incredibly effective: outfits you can put on without giving it much thought, silhouettes that look good even after a late-night party, and modest athletic accents that give every ensemble energy and ease.
Similar to those hazy early hours after a long night, the brand’s Belgian design DNA took a new turn this season as vivid colors blend with gentle pastels, blended with reflected effects and trompe-l’oeil illusions that manipulate perception. The Morning After evokes those hurried times when you throw on a jacket or put a t-shirt over a dress to get out the door; fabrics are chosen to move and shift with the wearer. Few collections can combine the comedy of reality, not to mention Antwerp sophistication, that turns the post-party haze into a fashionable statement.
