Laura Andraschko is one of the most exciting designers to come out of London rewriting the rules of femininity while challenging social expectations. The Austrian-born designer showed for the first time during Paris Fashion Week bringing her Autumn Winter 2025/26 collection “Après Ski” in a campy tone celebrating the pastiche of the glitzy slopes to the runway. Setting the mood, the throng was warmed by a flurry of sparkling bottle ladies carrying bottles of Dom Perignon with model Lindsey Wixson opening the show, wearing an Austrian jacket tweed dress with a fur bubble skirt against the wooden and dim Chalet Connetable, adorned with taxidermy animals and wooden furniture for a pine ambiance.

From campy après ski tanks to Swiss chalet aesthetics, Laura Andraschko’s design approach combines layers of fabrics and a subdued vintage color palette with reworked details like the lederhosen and Loden Janker to create a collection that combines snowy nostalgia with the rebellious sleazy storylines that are Laura Andraschko’s specialty.

The collection was created to evoke the nostalgia of authenticity, much like in the past. It was dedicated to the diverse individuals she encountered in Berlin as a youngster and her brand ethos, which combines hedonism, humor, and craftsmanship. Pieces were cut and stylized to honor Andraschko’s wild time spent in Berlin while creating a tribute to a childhood spent on the Austrian slopes. She drew on research into archive photographs and historical pieces from the 1950s and beyond as seen in the Micro Courchevel mountain knitted shorts and graphic tees from the 2000s ae paired with serious tweeds and risky shoulder pads. In a society that frequently encourages uniformity, Andraschko challenges women to embrace their complexity and have a little fun.
