Nocturnal Energy at Hermès Fall-Winter 2026

At Hermès, twilight falls softly. Under Nadège Vanhée-Cybulski, the house drifts into dusk—where leather, lunar light, and equestrian echoes blur the line between nightfall and elegance.

Hermès transformed the Garde Républicaine into a dreamlike landscape for its Fall-Winter 2026 show at Paris Fashion Week. Under the direction of womenswear artistic director Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski, the vast space was softened with moss and illuminated with cool, lunar light that evoked the quiet ambiguity of dusk. The mood echoed the collection’s central idea a wardrobe existing somewhere between day and night.

The color palette avoided predictable winter darkness. Instead, Vanhee-Cybulski explored the shifting hues of twilight deep navy, moss green, sulfur yellow, oxblood, and iridescent burgundy tones that seemed to evolve under the runway’s cool lighting.  Leather dominated the collection appearing in glossy biker shorts, zip-front dresses, sculptural coats, and fluid outerwear trimmed with plush shearling collars. Beyond leather, favorite pieces included jodhpurs and flat riding boots referencing the house’s equestrian roots.

Beauty completed the show’s after-dark atmosphere. Makeup centered on softly smoked eyes and sculpted contours, giving the models a quietly seductive, nocturnal elegance. Skin remained natural and luminous, maintaining the understated polish that defines the house. Hair was equally controlled sleek, straight, and often tucked neatly into collars or worn pulled back allowing the sharp silhouettes, high necklines, and dramatic outerwear to remain the visual focus.
