A reflection on digital saturation and memory loss defines the Autumn/Winter 2026/27 collection by the emerging Spanish label founded by Amara Caruncho Ledo.

Identity unfolds as something unstable, shaped by repetition and digital excess, a condition that takes form in ‘Halfway Done’. Presented at the 37th edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion, the Autumn/Winter 2026/27 collection marks Coconutscankill’s debut on the Barcelona runway. Founded in 2018 by Amara Caruncho Ledo, the label translates this state into garments that hold tension between coherence and fragmentation, positioning fashion as a space of inquiry.
‘Halfway Done’ moves through a landscape where fragmented thoughts become silhouettes. The collection draws from unfinished narratives, where ideas, images and emotions remain suspended. This tension defines both structure and styling, as garments combine disparate elements into cohesive looks. Textures collide, colours overlap and proportions shift, building a visual system that mirrors the overstimulated mind while reclaiming control through composition.
Materiality drives the collection. Coconutscankill combines fabrics and techniques with a direct expressive intent. Each look suggests displacement, as if removed from its context and reassembled elsewhere. The result reinforces identity as something in constant reconstruction.
Caruncho Ledo’s multidisciplinary practice shapes this approach. Awarded the Allianz EGO Confidence in Fashion prize in 2023, she continues to connect personal reflection with broader cultural shifts. With this debut, Coconutscankill aligns with a generation of designers translating the digital condition into form.
