That feeling inspires the Eclipse Solar Experience, organised by Le Méridien Ra Beach Hotel & Spa, the five-star resort on Sant Salvador Beach in El Vendrell, on Spain’s Costa Daurada. The event invites guests to experience one of the summer’s most anticipated astronomical moments from an exceptional waterfront setting.
On 12 August 2026, the hotel’s rooftop will host an evening of live DJ music, cocktails and snacks while the eclipse unfolds above the Mediterranean. Certified viewing glasses will be provided to every guest, allowing everyone to enjoy the phenomenon safely and comfortably. Tickets are priced at €35 per person, including rooftop access, refreshments and eclipse glasses, with places available in limited numbers.
Housed in a restored early twentieth-century landmark, the resort has welcomed guests since 2004 with 150 rooms and suites, a renowned spa and several Mediterranean dining venues. The Eclipse Solar Experience extends that approach, turning a rare celestial event into another way to enjoy the Costa Daurada.
