Following her appointment as Creative Director of Marni and fresh from winning the prestigious ANDAM Fashion Award in 2025, Meryll Rogge returned to Paris during Men’s Fashion Week with a presentation staged as an exhibition. Rather than staging a conventional runway, the Belgian designer transformed the official residence of the Belgian Ambassador into an immersive installation produced by Profirst, taking inspiration from Claes Oldenburg’s Mouse Museum (1979).

Garments were displayed alongside books, photographs by Julie Greve and carefully selected everyday objects, dissolving the boundaries between fashion, art and personal memory while inviting visitors into the creative universe behind the collection. Rogge continued refining the distinctive wardrobe she has built since launching her label, this time looking to the women who have embraced her designs rather than an imagined muse. Familiar signatures reappeared with renewed confidence: monochromatic floral prints spread across crisp shirts and pencil skirts, lace and ribbon appliqués constructed feminine dresses and tops, while draped moiré silk eveningwear brought a couture sensibility to the collection. Elsewhere, sporty jackets, knitwear and striped poplin bloomer shorts introduced an effortless ease, balanced by oversized chino trousers cinched with double-pronged leather belts, a recurring motif in Rogge’s work. Layered bomber jackets and relaxed men’s tailoring reinforced the designer’s fascination with garments that carry memories.

The installation itself extended these ideas of collecting and curation. Folded, stacked and assembled, clothes, artist books and personal objects created unexpected associations, encouraging visitors to consider how fashion acquires meaning through the stories we attach to it. Rogge also collaborated with the Brussels-based Saint-Martin Bookshop, presenting a curated selection of artist books and fashion publications that reveal many of the visual references that inform the collection.
