The Fête of Eternal Spring:
The grass bent beneath them, not in surrender, but in playful conspiracy, as if whispering that something was destined to happen today. They tangled flowers into each other’s hair, weaving summer into something almost alive. The sky, as it had every day before, stretched endlessly, and if not for the meadow carving a line on the horizon, they might have believed it went on forever. Everything seemed perfect—yet, deep inside, they both felt something was missing. If not with their eyes, they saw it with their souls—a quiet absence, nestled deep within, waiting to be found. Suddenly, the petals swayed in the wind, which slithered like a snake through the ancient rocks rising from the meadow. Before them, a familiar pink creature emerged, forging a strange magnetic connection between the three beings. The flowers smiled, the grass purred, and in the distance, the frantic fluttering of bird wings filled the air. Nature was weeping—everyone knew it, except for them. A heaviness settled around them, carrying the scent of hope.
