Les Benjamins’ Spring/Summer 2025 collection, «From a Thousand Miles Away, Unconditional Love», celebrates the deep bond between Turkey and South Korea, forged during the Korean War. The collection blends military-inspired designs with modern twists, flowing fabrics, and jacquard patterns, symbolizing unity and cross-cultural empathy.
Les Benjamins, the Istanbul-based fashion label, launches its Spring/Summer 2025 collection as a tribute to the deep relationship between Turkey and South Korea. This bond, forged during the Korean War in 1950, is reflected in the collection’s themes of courage, cultural exchange, and solidarity.
The SS25 collection blends military-inspired silhouettes with contemporary design, drawing influences from both Turkish and Korean cultures. Silhouettes are updated with modern cuts, and fabrics flow fluidly, echoing the traditional Korean hanok houses. Camouflage motifs and jacquard patterns represent the unity and empathy that lie at the heart of the collection.
Bünyamin Aydin, founder of Les Benjamins, was deeply moved by his visit to Seoul, where he experienced the profound connection between the two cultures. “When I mentioned I was Turkish, their response was immediate: ‘Oh, brother country!’ It was a powerful moment of shared history,” Aydin recalls.
This personal connection inspired Aydin to create a collection that embodies the unbreakable bond between the two nations, aiming to make wearers feel that unity. “In today’s world, this sentiment has greater meaning: the ability to share love, no matter where we come from,” he adds.
Les Benjamins SS25 is a celebration of love, empathy, and the enduring strength of cultural ties. To explore the collection and purchase the pieces, visit Les Benjamins’ website.
