LOEWE Perfumes captures Spanish landscapes through scent

Spanish landscapes shape the visual language of LOEWE Perfumes’ new global project, where each fragrance finds its reflection in light, texture and terrain.

There is a place where scent becomes landscape, and LOEWE Perfumes locates it across Spain. Shot in the Canary Islands, the Evergreen project links each fragrance to a specific ecosystem, translating its notes into atmosphere, colour and scale through analogue imagery by Peter Jordanov and film by Marc Dimitrov. Landscapes unfold as emotional counterparts to scent, turning territory into a sensory language that moves between the visible and the intangible.

LOEWE Aire Sutileza Elixir opens the series with a luminous floral composition set against fields in bloom, where pear, bergamot and lemon expand through light and air. LOEWE Esencia Elixir moves into mountainous terrain, aligning its aromatic and woody structure with elevation, density and scale. LOEWE Solo Ella Elixir unfolds at sunset, its floral warmth diffused through horizon light, while LOEWE 001 Woman resonates with mineral landscapes shaped slowly over time, where texture and erosion define the scene.

LOEWE Earth turns inward, grounded in layers of burnt soil that evoke its amber and musk base, while LOEWE 7 Elixir explores abstract, almost otherworldly terrains that suggest distance, mystery and depth. The project extends into LOEWE Home Scents, where handcrafted terracotta vessels appear embedded in rock, sand or vegetation, reinforcing the singular botanical note that defines each candle.

The visual structure of the project shifts between presence and mediation. Landscapes appear first as open horizons, then refracted through the translucent geometry of each bottle, fragmenting the view and placing nature inside the object. This gesture collapses distance and scale, bringing the exterior into a contained, tactile form that can be held, worn or inhabited.

Rather than illustrating fragrance, the project constructs a correspondence system where scent, image and place operate together. Spain becomes both origin and medium, and each composition translates its diversity into a precise sensory register, where emotion is anchored in material, light and terrain.
