The Barcelona artist reshapes dembow into a sharp pop statement as she prepares to release ‘Ouineta Verificada’ this March.
Movement becomes language in ‘Tai Chi’, the latest single from Ouineta and the final preview of her debut album ‘Ouineta Verificada’, arriving this March. Produced by Juan Feduchi, the track transforms dembow into a sleek pop artefact that feels both instinctive and deliberate, inviting listeners to move without asking for permission.
‘Tai Chi’ sharpens her sound into something more immediate and defined. Pop operates as the core of an eclectic universe that absorbs reggaeton, bachata, electronic textures and ballad influences through a lens that is playful yet self-aware. The album’s title frames the idea of verification as both public recognition and private affirmation, tracing the path of an artist negotiating visibility on her own terms.
The accompanying video, directed by Daniel2000, unfolds as a surreal collage of images that appear fragmented yet magnetic. Known for collaborations with Amaia and Mainline Magic Orchestra, the director reinforces Ouineta’s visual identity, where absurdity and performance coexist freely.
Following the album’s release, Ouineta will bring the project to the stage on April 10 at Razzmatazz 2 in Barcelona and April 16 at Sala B in Madrid, launching a national tour that will continue throughout the year.
