La Beauté Louis Vuitton’s first limited edition brings the Monogram from the bag to the beauty case, reflecting a shift in luxury where even what we consume is designed to remain.

A lipstick eventually runs out, an eyeshadow disappears with every use. The new collection from Louis Vuitton proposes a different relationship with these objects. Together with Pat McGrath, Creative Director of Cosmetics at the Maison, and Nicolas Ghesquière, Artistic Director of Women’s Collections, the house celebrates 130 years of its Monogram with the first limited edition of ‘La Beauté Louis Vuitton’.

‘Monogram Dune’ draws on the luminous shades of the desert, building a softer palette around beige, nude, white and rose gold. Its selection includes an ‘LV Ombres’ palette, an ‘LV Rouge’ lipstick and an ‘LV Baume’, extending that warm, sunlit atmosphere across eyes and lips.

‘Monogram Infrarouge’ moves into a darker register through black, red and burgundy. The same three formats appear here, with an ‘LV Ombres’ palette, an ‘LV Rouge’ and an ‘LV Baume’, translating the Monogram into a more intense colour story and offering a counterpoint to Dune’s lighter tones.

Across both universes, the Monogram covers the cases, the makeup can be replaced through refills, and the collection expands into lipstick holders, Mini Vanities and blotting papers. Refillable formats and collectible cases are familiar codes within luxury beauty, adding an extra dimension that elevates makeup beyond its immediate use.
