‘Prolonged Adolescence’, the Fall/Winter 2026 collection by the Barcelona-based brand, extends its narrative through a series of images that translate its office-born fantasy into something more intimate, solitary and quietly emotional.

After its presentation in Paris, as seen in Growing up but not quite at Paloma Wool Fall Winter 2026, the brand returns with a new set of images that extend the narrative of ‘Prolonged Adolescence’. The collection introduced strict, uniform-like tailoring rooted in an inherited, professional wardrobe, punctured by mischievous elements such as nylon bows and stuffed animals.
A woman moving through the world alone, holding onto something small, strange and deeply personal. Photographed by Hugo Bouteyre, the visuals shift the focus from the collective energy of the runway to a more introspective scene. The office setting that defined the show dissolves into a quieter narrative, where the character appears suspended between adulthood and something unresolved, still carried from girlhood.
The caption itself becomes a key to the imagery: “A woman with a lingering girlhood traveling the world alone carrying a small fantastical mischievous element inside her bag.” That “element” echoes the stuffed animals introduced on the runway, now reimagined less as disruption and more as emotional anchor.
