Chili Dia, Veronika Gram and Karla Alajdi turn a day by the canals into GANNI’s most local summer story.
A boat, a patch of grass and plans that change along the way. GANNI returns home for ‘A Very GANNI Summer’, the High Summer chapter of SS26, starring model Chili Dia and her friends Veronika Gram and Karla Alajdi.
The trio spend a summer day travelling through Copenhagen’s canals, lying in the grass and gathering around a barbecue. A spontaneous drink stretches into the night, while rain and cold water become part of the experience.
Photographed by Sarah Stenfeldt, the campaign replaces fashion fantasy with something looser and more familiar. Friendship leads the narrative, while Copenhagen becomes a lived setting rather than a decorative backdrop. The casting reinforces that connection: Dia is part of the Danish fashion scene, Gram works in creative production and communication, and Alajdi is a Copenhagen-based model and stylist.
Locally produced by Bad Land in collaboration with i-D, the campaign combines still and moving images. Kristine Halken styles smocked cotton, playful T-shirts, leopard swimwear, yellow dresses and the woven Mini Bou Bag.
After exploring imagined summers earlier in the season, GANNI moves outdoors. Here, summer is simply about sharing the city with friends.
