Georgia O’Keeffe’s personal uniform informs Calvin Klein SS27, a study in American Minimalism. Presented during New York Fashion Week, the collection brings Veronica Leoni’s vision into dialogue with Rosalía’s unique presence within the house.

A sense of reduction runs through the latest Calvin Klein collection. Since taking over Calvin Klein Collection in 2024, Veronica Leoni has been revisiting the house through simplicity, proportion and the relationship between clothes and the body. For SS27, she returns to familiar essentials: coats, shirts, trousers, pencil skirts, tailoring and slips, stripped back to precise forms.

One of the clearest references is Georgia O’Keeffe. Beyond her painting, the artist created an unmistakable personal uniform through repetition, restrained silhouettes and careful proportions. Leoni translates that attitude into elongated lines and clothes made to be combined and worn again. A check taken from O’Keeffe’s own wardrobe makes the connection literal, but the idea goes further: dressing as a way of defining yourself through consistency.

Cotton tailoring, pale denim, silk jersey and bias cut dresses keep everything light. Black and white meet flashes of scarlet, yellow and blue, alongside suede, visible underwear, oversized bags and sculptural metal headbands. At Terminal Warehouse, works by Walter De Maria carried the conversation with American Minimalism into the space.

The SS27 show also brings another side of Calvin Klein’s current identity into focus: the meeting point between Leoni’s design language and Rosalía’s presence around the house. Leoni joined Calvin Klein in 2024, while Rosalía debuted with its Fall 2025 underwear campaign and, days later, attended the Spring 2026 show in Calvin Klein Collection. Since then, she has expanded into fragrance with Euphoria and returned to Leoni’s runway world. Leoni shapes the clothes through reduction, precise proportions and controlled sensuality, while Rosalía embodies that language with her unique magnetism and carries it into a wider cultural space.

For the SS27 presentation in New York, Rosalía wore two Calvin Klein looks across the day. She arrived at the show in black, with a fitted bodice, voluminous satin skirt and sunglasses. Later, for the Euphoria Signature Elixir celebration in Greenwich Village, she changed into a custom silver Calvin Klein Collection dress with fine straps and an open back. Two very different looks that bring Leoni’s Calvin Klein into Rosalía’s own visual world.
