The spirit of Palomo moved from runway to guests, as friends became part of ‘Et in Arcadia Ego’. Alejandro Gómez Palomo imagined Spring/Summer 2027 in Madrid’s Rosaleda del Parque del Oeste, celebrating ten years of Palomo.

For its tenth anniversary, Palomo returned to the codes that have shaped its universe since Alejandro Gómez Palomo founded the house in 2016. ‘Et in Arcadia Ego’ turns those references into a world of their own, bringing desire, fantasy, tradition and artifice together inside the gardens of Madrid’s Rosaleda del Parque del Oeste.
The setting gives that imagined world a physical form. Baroque Spanish gardens, eighteenth century pastoral painting and the visual universes of Luchino Visconti, Pier Paolo Pasolini and Cecil Beaton inform a collection of 40 looks where silk chiffon meets Italian tailoring, floral brocades, embroidered cottons, velvet, crystals and metallic studs.
«Imagining our own Arcadia, we drew from the darkness of the garden just before dawn. A celebration of freedom, sensuality and beauty.» – Palomo Spain

Many of Palomo’s most recognizable codes return throughout the collection. Bows appear across sashes, dresses, shoes and tailoring. Ostrich feathers move through skirts, tops and accessories before reaching the bridal look that closes the show. Silk fringes, tassels and bias cut evening dresses introduce movement, while masculine and feminine references continue to circulate freely through the same wardrobe.
That sense of continuity extended beyond the runway. Friends of the house arrived dressed in Palomo, visually becoming part of the same world unfolding through the garden. The distinction between audience and collection softened further when the first model completed his walk, sat behind a drum kit placed at the centre of the space and joined the music created for the show by Nicolás Feriche Pomés and Juan Pomés Feduchi.

Ten years into the project, Palomo’s Arcadia feels less like a destination than a portrait of the world the designer continues to imagine through clothing, people and fantasy.
